Here comes a clean and simple card in red, blue and white for the Task for Two challenge. Scroll down to check it out. I really found it quite difficult sticking to just those colours, but here it comes:
I used watercolour to paint the simple stripes on my cardstock, then cut it to size with the pierced rectangle die from Avery Elle. This adds a little something to the simple design. Next I stamped the little Lawn Fawn bird in black and coloured him in using copics. I satmped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Versamark and heat embossed it white.
To mat my panel, I cut some red cardstock to size and coloured over the edges in the darker red copic to match it perfectly to the bird.
After adhering this panel to a white cardbase, I went in with some strawberry coulis Nuvo Jewel Drops for another pop of red and dimension. I also added Wink of Stella to the bird.
