This card started out with me playing with the Distress Oxide Inks. I used spiced marmelade and worn lipstick on one piece of cardstock and cracked pistachio and iced spruce on another. Then I wanted to use pieces rather than chuck them out and decided to make another Easter card.
I used the rabbit stamp from Charlie und Paulchen and stamped it in iced spruce, then fussy cut it out. From the green piece I die cut some leaves. Those are by Tim Holtz. The sentiment is cut from Kraft with a Charlie und Paulchen die.
For my panel, I stamped some leaves in versamark and clear heat embossed them, for a tone in tone look. Then I arrange all the pieces on it , adhering the top of the sentiment and some of the top leaces with glue drops, to add a bit of dimension.
Finally, I adhered the panel onto a white card base, leaving a rim. I really like the subtle look of this card and I do love those Oxide Inks.
