A Winter Coffee Card

The current Fusion challenge is right down my line, with a picture of hot drinks in the snowy forest. Please scroll down to see it! For me this spells Coffee Card! So off I went a-crafting and combined the picture and the sketch into this card:

I started out with a wooden piece of paper, on which I stamped the Craft Emotions log background stamp. This I heat embossed in white. I love the frosty look this adds.

Next I stamped the Lawn Fawn coffee cups twice on Kraft cardstock. They are from the Love you a latte set. I used Versafine black onyx ink, so I could do the colouring in Inktense pencils with water. They work great on Kraft. After colouring in red and white, I added Sakura glaze pen to the lids and heat embossed the coffee bean in platinum gold. Then I cut the cups with the coordinating dies.

I cute the white wreath with a Spellbinders die and trimmed a piece of vellum to fit under it. Then I fitted them into the bottom corner of my panel. The first cup I adhered flat and the one over it with glue drops.

The xo is from Avery Elles A tag for all dies. I cut it four times from heavy red cardstock and glued two on top of each other, before finishing my panel by adhering them in place.

Finally, I added the panel onto a matching red card base.
