Here is a quick CAS card, with a smiley on happy polka dots.
I first stamped the smiley in ombre ink from Hero Arts and then clear heat embossed it. I had to act quickly, as the dye ink dries quite quickly. After some searching, I managed to find a stitched circle die which exactly matches it’s size. The sentiment is from that same stamp set from Technique Tuesday. I stamped it on a stitched banner.
Next, I cut a card front with a pierced rectangle die and dry embossed the polka dots. I used a Next Level embosssing folder from We R meomry keepers for this. It gives lovely extra dimension to an otherwise simple card.
I chose a bright matching colour cardstock for my card base. After adhering the panel I adhered the smiley with foam squares. For the banner I used glue drops, which allowed me to adhere it on the slightly lower level.
I think the card lives from the dimension and the bright pop of colour.
