This lovely little bunny is by Purple Onion Designs and called Hope. I bought him as soon as came out and am happy to finally post a card featuring him.
The card started with him stamped in Versafine onyx black ink on watercolour paper. To colour him I used Distress inks as watercolour. After fussy cutting him out, I added a tiny drop of Enamel Accents in black on his nose and Wink of Stella on his tail.
Next I cut the snow bank from watercolour paper. The texture is great for snow. The die used is from Lawn Fawn and I love the stitched edge. I layered it on some colourful pattern paper. The polka dots are meant to mimik snow, while also adding some colour to the background. They have a slightly distressed look, which works really well for this card.
I stamped the sentiment in VersaColor Pigment inks, using ash rose, rose red and orchid to achieve an ombre effect. Then I heat embossed with clear embossing powder for some shine. The Wishes is from Create A Smile and the little Happy Birthday is from a Stephanie Barnard stamp set.
The paneI I cut with a pierced rectangle die by Avery Elle and adhered flat to my cream card base.
All that was left to do now, was to add little Hope. For this I used glue dots on the sleigh, and the big glue drops on the head and scarf. This gives great dimension and he really seems to be flying by on his sleigh.
