Snow White is this wednesdays challenge by SSS. It inspired me to create this snowfall card.
I had already made the snowflake. It was a die cut from patterned paper on which I added inks in blue and silver and played around with adding clear embossing powder between the inking. This pearled up beautifully into the clear embossing powder. I like the effect, but it doesn’t really show up in the photos.
To create a background I used a stamp set by Charlie und Paulchen, featuring a German Song about waiting for snow. First, I stamped the light blue layer and then I went in with the silver.
I adhered the panel to a pale blue card base, before adding the snow scene at the bottom. This is cut from shimmer paper.
The sentiment is heat embossed and popped up on a strip of foam tape to finish of the card.
