Polar Coffee

I had the idea of a gold and white coffee cup and managed to put it together quite quickly. The MFT polar bear waving hi substitutes any further sentiment.

But creating that background and how to add the pink I wanted, took me very long indeed.

After much playing about with various papers and inks, I decided on a blue background panel stamped with white pigment ink.  I coloured some Distress Oxide in seedless preserves onto paper ant cut the pine branch and the little star from this.

To ground the elements on the card, I created a vellum tag and added some ribbon and a brad. I also put some Wink of Stella on the star.

Once everything was put together on the card, it actually seems a lot simpler than it was. But I am really pleased with the result!
