One Last Easter Card

Here comes my last Easter Card of rthe year. I can’t keep my hands off those Distress Oxide Inks, so here I am using them once again, but achieving a very differnt look than on the last few cards.

I started with a very watery wash of cracked pistachio and iced spruce in some areas of my panel. I then cut it to size with a wonky stiched rectangle die. I then used the text stamp with Easter and Spring words by Charlie and Paulchen. I love how crisp the inks stamp.

The Bunny is little Birch from Purple Onion Designs. I stamped him in Memento London Fog and coloured him in using copics. Some areas I drew over in a black fine liner. Then I fussy cut him out and gve him a coat of Glossy Accents. Once dried, I adhered him onto the Text and stamped the sentiment right next to him.

The banners I cut from cardstock, on which I hd dried the oxide inks with stamps and water. I used spiced marmelade, worn lipstick and cracked pistachio. The dies used are from Simon Says Stamp. I glued the banners how I wanted them, cut them down and went over the edge with a stitched border die to add the slanted stitching. Then I fixed them onto my panel.

Now all that was left to do, was to adhere the panel to my card base.
