Sparkly Glitter Deer

For this pair of clean and simple Christmas cards, I chose a Charlie und Paulchen die to cut my main focal point from dark brown glitter cardstock. The deer are in themselves so lovely, that they don’t need much else really. I went with pale colours for the rest of the card design, to add some contrast.

I chose some Christmas paper and dry embossed it in a woodgrain embossing folder, actually going with the debossing.

The sentiment stamps and die are also by Charlie und Paulchen. After adding these on the panels, I groundes my sparkly little deer on them.

I adhered the panel onto grey card bases, leaving a slim border around the edges.

  1. I am terrible at doing clean and simple styles, so I really admire anyone who does it well. And YOU did these beautifully! I really like how the deer is the focal point, yet you also made stunning backgrounds. Lovely incorporation of texture and the subtle palette is so soothing and peaceful. Happy holidays to you and thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
